Everyone should have an accountability partner - that is a trusted advisor you have in your wife - spouse - best friend - she is indeed a blessing !

Very much this! And wouldn't it be beautiful if we could bring this more fully human vision into our workplaces too? Thank you for putting words to what accountability can be. 🙏

Um, hate to ask, but your daughter Chloe didn’t die by suicide too, did she? It’s left unstated in the piece. Whatever the case, please accept condolences, wishes for strength as your life evolves, and gratitude for your reflections here. Bon courage!

Hi Cassandra. She died drinking and driving. But, her mental health had made her life completely unmanageable. I can never know, but it’s easy for me to imagine now that if she hadn’t died in the accident, she may have chosen to end her life.

Her mom’s suicide shattered her soul and she was never able to heal. I believe they are together now and I think that might be where she needs to be ♥️

Oh I’m so sorry. What a devastating loss. May both their souls rest in peace and their memories be a blessing to all who knew them.
